OPPORTUNITIES TO SERVE:
Hospitality/Community Life Development Team: This team is responsible for providing fellowship opportunities so that all may gather and experience a welcoming and friendly community. Development teams meet each third Tuesday of the month, 6:30-8:00 PM, September through May.
Hospitality Sunday: Serve refreshments on the third Sunday of the month.
Prepare Desserts/Food: Prepare “sweet” treats and snacks throughout the year for hospitality at parish events.
Soup Supper: Prepare and/or serve Lenten Tuesday evening meals.
Funeral Luncheon: Serve and cleanup the funeral lunches.
Our Lady’s Quilters and Crafters: Makes quilts and crafts together as a women’s group meeting weekly on Monday mornings. Proceeds from items are given to a determined need of the parish.
Knights of Columbus: Serves to make a difference in the parish and the community as a faith, family and fraternity based group.
Catholic United Financial: (Formerly Catholic Aid) This group promotes fraternalism and charity as a non-profit society. They provide members with insurance, financial benefits and promote religious education, Catholic schooling and vocations through fund-raising.
Photographer: Serve as needed to capture images of community and parish life.
Lend a hand to make these fund-raising events and/or fellowship events successful:
Summer Bash Weekend: Volunteer to help with outdoor Mass, games, crafts, meal, entertainment and more at the parish festival, held in late summer.
Snowball: Volunteer to assist with a winter event with a meal and dance.
Please note: New parishioners are welcomed to the parish at various times throughout the year! Also, all parishioners will be asked to provide for funeral lunches.
