Guiding Principles

  • Our invitation for financial support will be well organized, dignified, respectful and confidential. No one will be told whether to, or what to, contribute. The process will be based on invitation, not pressure.

  • All financial commitments and contributions, regardless of size, will be welcomed and appreciated.

  • Commitments and contributions for the capital campaign building project must be above and beyond regular weekly or monthly support for the annual operating budget, and tuition/fees for our parish education programs.

  • All commitments will be acknowledged with a thank you note from Father Kevin Anderson.

  • Financial commitments will not be legally binding, but a moral commitment to Christ Our Light Catholic Parish.

    • Should the donors’ circumstances change and they need to adjust their commitment, they simply need to contact the parish to arrange an adjustment.

  • Since Christ Our Light Catholic Parish is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) charitable organization, all contributions will be tax deductible, based on current Federal and State laws.

  • Contributions to the capital campaign will be recorded in the household confidential contribution record and acknowledged (along with operating fund contributions) at the end of each calendar year in the parish annual Statement of Contributions.
