Taking the First Steps
Our architect has determined the total cost estimate for the entire new facility master plan could be $20,179,000.00 (in 2017 dollars).
Clearly, this amount is far beyond our financial capacity today – especially when we still own two separate campus properties, currently for sale.
In addition, before we may proceed with groundbreaking/construction on the new site, the Diocese of Saint Cloud suggests that a good portion of the first phase cost should be collected in cash and the remaining cost of the first phase be pledged in financial
For this reason, we believe it is fiscally responsible to take on the proposed master plan in a phased approach, building each step along our forward thinking journey.
“Acquisition Phase” Financial Goal – $5,000,000.00
Purchase the entire 107 acres $600,000.00
Substantial down payment fund for building project $4,300,000.00
Feasibility/Capital Campaign/Architectural Design Fees $100,000.00
2017-2020 Capital Campaign Goal $5,000,000.00
As we raise the financial commitments, and collect the pledge payments over the next three years, we will continue to pursue buyers for the current Princeton and Zimmerman.
- When we sell one of the current properties, and collect the funds for a down payment, we will be in a secure financial position to build the first phase of the master plan – our new church!
