Outreach at Christ Our Light

At Christ Our Light, we believe in putting our faith into action. Through outreach programs, seasonal drives, and giving initiatives, we serve those in need and care for our community.

– How We Give Back –

Parish tithing

We dedicate 5% of our general collection to non-profits that align with our mission. Organizations can apply for funding to help serve the marginalized and vulnerable.



We organize collections throughout the year to support families and individuals in need:

• Food Donations
• Non-perishable food for the local pantry (drop-off in the main entrance)

• Personal Care Products
• Hygiene items for SWAN (Stuff We All Need) (drop-off in the main entrance)

• Plastic Film Recycling
• Collecting plastic film to upcycle into NexTrex benches (1,000 lbs = 1 bench!)

• Christmas Giving Program
• Holiday gifts and essentials for families in need.

• Princeton Community Table
• Providing free community meals and fellowship.

• Laundry Love (Princeton & Zimmerman)
• Covering laundry costs to assist individuals and families.

• Meals on Wheels
• Delivering nutritious meals to seniors and individuals with mobility challenges.

• Visiting Friends Ministry
• Connecting with homebound parishioners through visits.

• Light Line
• Supporting fellow parishioners going through a difficult time – facing illness, loss, or life transitions.

• Fair Trade Sales
• Offering the sale of coffee, teas, and chocolates to support ethical and sustainable practices.

• Creation Care Team
• Promoting environmental stewardship and sustainability initiatives.

Annual "Chippin' In Fore All" Golf Tournament

Area churches collaboratively put on this day of fun and fundraising to support our outreach efforts.
