Infant Baptism

Classes are offered approximately every other month—please check the parish calendar, bulletin, or contact the parish office. Anointing of the Sick
Anointing of the Sick is a sacrament of healing, offering God’s grace, strength, and peace to those facing serious illness, injury, or the effects of aging. It brings spiritual comfort and, when possible, physical healing.
Requesting Anointing
If you or a loved one is seriously ill or in need of Anointing of the Sick, please call Christ Our Light at 763-389-2115 to request a priest visit. We can also arrange for a Eucharistic Minister to bring Holy Communion and offer prayers.
For guidance on end-of-life care and making funeral arrangements, please visit our Funeral Planning Resources page.
Holy Orders
The Sacrament of Holy Orders is a vital aspect of our faith at Christ Our Light, continuing the mission Christ entrusted to His apostles. This sacrament establishes the apostolic ministry through three degrees:
Bishops (Episcopate): Successors to the apostles, bishops shepherd the Church, teaching doctrine, governing Catholics in their jurisdiction, and sanctifying the world.
Priests (Presbyterate): As co-workers with bishops, priests proclaim the Gospel, administer the sacraments, and guide the faithful in their spiritual journey.
Deacons (Diaconate): Deacons serve by assisting bishops and priests in liturgical roles, charitable works, and pastoral care.
For those discerning a call to the priesthood or diaconate within the Diocese of Saint Cloud, the Vocations Office offers guidance and support:

We encourage anyone feeling called to explore this sacred vocation to reach out for more information and support.
