Stewardship Stories

Throughout the coming weeks, you'll meet parishioners who have discovered joy through serving and giving. Their stories remind us that stewardship isn't about filling a need—it's about answering God's call.

"The gifts of music and woodworking are gifts that God has given to me and I enjoy sharing them here. Every song we sing at church is inspirational. The words of all the songs we sing give us a chance to grow in faith. Serving at Christ Our Light has given me many new friends to interact with. Volunteering gives me a lot of joy. Give it a try so that you can experience that joy!

“Living the Eucharist means taking a little first step into something new. Christ Our Light has many opportunities to volunteer, and you can dip into any one of them at any time. Give an opportunity a little time at the beginning. Listen for a few months. Ask questions if you don’t understand something. Just faithfully show up and help.”
