Stewardship at Christ Our Light

At Christ Our Light, stewardship is about responding to God's generosity with grateful hearts.

Because we are called to Love God. Live the Eucharist, we strive to live our faith every day as we Gather in worship, Grow as disciples, and Go forth to serve others.

Gather

We gather around the table of the Lord, where Christ nourishes us through His Word and the Eucharist. We gather as a parish family to pray, celebrate, and welcome one another.

"They devoted themselves...

to the breaking of the bread

and the prayers."

— Acts 2:42

Grow

Faith is a lifelong journey...

Through prayer, formation, fellowship, and serving alongside one another, God continues to shape us into the disciples God calls us to be.

Ask yourself:

  • What gifts has God entrusted to me?
  • How has this parish helped me grow in faith?
  • Where is God inviting me next?

Go

Every Mass ends with our mission statement: "Love God. Live the Eucharist."

We live the Eucharist by serving our parish, caring for our neighbors, sharing our faith, and giving generously so others may encounter Christ.

  • Every gift matters.
  • Every person has a place.
  • Every act of stewardship makes a difference.

A Vision for Stewardship

000

At Christ Our Light, we are called to Love God. Live the Eucharist. But that isn’t something we only do when we come to Mass. It is something we are called to live every day... becoming the people God created us to be.

000

Each of us has been given gifts by God—our time, talents and treasure. Stewardship is simply recognizing those gifts and choosing how to share them. It is how we invest ourselves in the life of our parish and community.

We all have something to offer. The gifts we share help strengthen Christ Our Light, serve the people around us and carry the love of Christ beyond our walls.

Together, we are the Church. And together, we all have a part in what God is doing at Christ Our Light. I invite you to consider how you can share your gifts and invest in the life and mission of our parish.

Stewardship Stories

Throughout the coming weeks, you'll meet parishioners who have discovered joy through serving and giving. Their stories remind us that stewardship isn't about filling a need—it's about answering God's call.

"Christ Our Light feels like home to me. I have met and served with many wonderful people over the years. Some of them have become close friends. Serving has helped me connect with others and become more involved in parish life."

Nancy Pelletier

“Helping to engage people into the life of the Church and encounter Christ has strengthened my own faith more than I expected. The more I give of my time, the more I realize just how much I receive in return.”

Jenny Adams

“Sharing my time and talents with Christ Our Light is the least I can do for a parish community that has been pivotal in my faith and spiritual development and has shown me the deep importance of having a supportive and loving faith community around my family.”

Christ our Light Commitment Weekend

Oct. 10/11, 2026

Throughout this stewardship journey, we are reflecting on the gifts God has given us and how we are called to share them. Stewardship is our grateful response—offering our time, talents, and treasures to help Christ Our Light continue to Love God. Live the Eucharist.

During Stewardship Commitment Weekend, we invite every household to prayerfully consider how God is calling you to participate in the life and mission of our parish.
