FIRE: (Families/Friends In Religious Education):

Christ Our Light's FIRE program is a comprehensive faith formation initiative for all ages. This program isn't just for kids and sacraments; we offer engaging sessions on diverse topics for adults, too. It's a great opportunity to deepen your faith, connect with the community, and explore new spiritual insights.

Youth Faith Formation Program:

Grades 7-11: Students in these grades will meet on Wednesdays throughout the faith formation year. Schedule COMING SOON.

Christ Our Light Youth Ministry:

Simply put, Youth Ministry is the Church's efforts to help each and every young person grow personally and spiritually. It is more than programs and events. Youth Ministry is a means for both junior high and high school students to grow as individuals while exploring ideas, values, and faith within the context of a supportive community of peers and adults.

Faith Formation/Youth Ministry Development Team:

This team is responsible for the faith formation of the parish. It investigates, formulates and implements programs that promote spiritual growth for all members/all ages of the parish community. Team members demonstrate strong leadership and faithfully participate in the programs provided. Please contact Kevin Sharpe, Director of Faith Formation, to volunteer or find out more.

Youth Leadership Team:

Youth Leadership at Christ Our Light Catholic Parish is made up of students in grades 10-12. This team plans special youth events, HS FIRE Night sessions, and other fun activities. This team also works together to build each other up to be leaders in their faith and to be a role model to all youth and adults alike. If you have any questions or would like to join the Youth Leadership team, please contact the parish.
