I am very pleased to be here at Christ our Light and work with families, youth and young adults. As you probably noticed, I have the same first and last name... there is no story behind it except that it is a naming tradition in Ethiopia, where I am originally from.
Over the years, I have had the privilege to work in parishes and teach in both Catholic and public schools. I look forward to my work at Christ our Light and getting to know all of you – to minister to you and be ministered by you – while working together to build the Kingdom of God in Princeton.
Youth ministry begins within a family. As a Catechism says, parents are the first catechists of their children. So, I see my ministry here at the parish will be a continuation of that. To make sure Christ is at the center of their life.
